In the Fortnite universe, you’re what’s known as a “Looper”. The basic idea behind Battle Royale is that the people battling it out on the Island are essentially trapped in a time loop that lasts 22 minutes (hence why they are called “Loopers”). Yeah, Shonen Jump absolutely *sucks* at describing their manga, but Spy x Family is absolutely worth a read. On top of what Gilthwixt has already said, the art is absolutely fantastic, *especially* when it comes to expressions:
