You mean there is going to be *yet another* Blair Witch video game:
“We have recently become aware that due to a technology error”
Will it also have Blackjack? And Hookers?
So... it’s Omikron: The Nomad Soul, just without David Bowie?
Exactly. And that’s the point, that “physical” ultimately isn’t any more reliable than digital, just different. If something happens to a physical game (disc, cartridge, ect), you can replace it... until the company stops producing new copies and the supply become increasingly finite.
Except accidents happen. And sometimes there are manufacturing defects that don’t become noticeable until later in a product’s lifespan, no matter how well you take care of it. Case in point: I recently had to replace the air blower in my car. The replacement worked for all of three months before it quit, because it…
Here’s hoping Ruiz doesn’t get matched up against Little Mac in the next bout.
But does it make us his bitch?
And Lickitung.
I’m looking forward to “Pokémon Master Baiting”, to teach young trainers how to become top notch fishermen.
Yes, the banner is insufficient. First off, not everyone can read (especially when you live in a small southern town where literacy levels are in the toilet). Second, there are times where people have the TV on, but aren’t actually focused on the screen (such as having to make a bathroom run, or going into the kitchen…
I’m probably in the minority here, but I honestly think the darker, non-ray traced version looks way better than the “fancy” version they’re promoting.
Honestly, between this and Nora Night, DE continues to impress.
The issue isn’t that they’re taking precautions with the winner. The issue is the whole “we won’t select another entrant as the new grand prize winner” part. That’s what makes things come off as shady.
I think it is, yes. It’s quite possible something happened (embezzlement, mismanagement, theft by a CEO, ect) to where they could no longer afford to make the payment, and are using this as an excuse to hide things.
Something could have happened that caused them to no longer have the funds, and this would have given them the perfect excuse to back out without admitting it.
That’s exactly what I’m thinking.
The issue isn’t the disqualification itself, it’s the “we’re not going to choose another entrant for the grand prize” part. This makes me suspicious, like they either don’t want to, or can’t, provide the $10,000 prize they advertised and are using the disqualification as an excuse to cover it up.
“Uniqlo will not award the Grand Prize to another entrant”
