Not to mention the STD cocktail they were most likely sharing between them. Poor girls.

Let alone the STD's this girl might have "just from the one time" with her boyfriend.......oldest story in the world, so sad. But kudos to the warrior educators on the front line, like you! :)
Yes, her daughter will be pregnant before she finishes high school the way this clueless mom is going in raising her daughter. And will be afraid to get checked for STD's, which could endanger the health of any children she has, too.
And if you're a parent, you are not qualified to critique/"enlighten"/or comment upon a childfree by free person's life, because you are not childfree by choice. (And we get hammered mercilessly by know it all parents convinced we're all demon spawn. Some of us might be, but we can't all choose our parents. :) )
Yes; don't forget the info that emerged a year or two ago that shared the sad info that the Catholic Church in Spain stole over 300,000 babies from their parents and sold them to adoptive couples over about fifty years - up through the 1990's. Many of the mothers were told their babies had died and they were refused…
Somewhat related rant from the customer side of things:
Update: Rocky's owner was able to lure Rocky out of the woods when everybody was looking for him by bringing his "housemate" cat along to meow out to him; Rocky recognized his friend and came out. Now the zoo that is holding him has said that if the owners build a new pen for him at their home they can take him back.…
Update: Rocky has been found and by court order taken to a zoo.
SO sorry you went through that. Unfortunately, loads of women do, and we're all pretty much fucked from Monday through Sunday for decades later; good luck eliciting sympathy; the college grads at Jez are often the worst for "shut up" "that would never have happened at my school, you went to the wrong school" and/or…
And the blaming the victim thing NEVER stops. 20 years later. It's loads of fun!
Yeah, it starts being a "You're being too nosy/bitter/loud/outspoken/etc. about the violence on college campuses" meme pretty damned quickly.
Possibly relevant, although, admittedly, I am an OLD compared to many posters here:
So what backup do you want?
It was a friend who had that experience, not a client. As far as she is concerned, Oates can burn slowly and painfully to death in a fiery pit of her own miscreation—- I'm not quoting her exactly, it's a rough summary of her words. And yeah, she is happy to shout ot the rooftops about it since nobody else would…
Where were these concerned troll Princeton professors when the women I knew were attempting to report their (both on campus and off campus) rapes? Concerned Princeton professor trolls were in "silence mode."
I think you might mean "calling" rather than profession, since unless you're claiming welfare benefits for your child, you ain't getting paid, generally speaking to be a mom.
What, because you honestly think Lindsay Lohan is off her meds/drugs/etc/ and is acting incredibly professionally when she films something?
I agree; the spectrum is so varied, so wide, and many people who are now being diagnosed on the spectrum have a real chance of living great lives; that's why it's a little scary that as these genetic mutations are tracked, verified, and amnio can be done to test for autism, mothers might choose to abort without…
They're not doing amnio yet for these mutations, but as more data is acquired to identify these mutations, it might become possible.
Yes. Your point?
