“featuring B-list DC antiheroes Nightwing and Red Hood.”
Excuse me, sir, Nightwing is not an antihero (and he’s an A-lister in my book, but YMMV)
I’m something of a believer in the Pokémon Picross monetization scheme: set an upper limit on the amount of money a person is able to spend. (In that case, once you buy a certain amount of currency, whether it was all at once or in small chunks, the game’s currency became free. This could be readily modified for…
This one seems to be a small/medium channel (150k subs). A few random youtube calculators seem to estimate like $30k a year on this channel.
For many Vegas residents, this seems like a win-win.
While not a perfect fit, I feel the better move would be to go to Reddit. But I guess they went with Discord because it’s the more ‘gamer-y’ platform, despite how people actually use it.
It still feels rooted in that ‘90s/’00s era where the comic book material is clearly being tailored to the needs of the film medium, whereas today the opposite is true — Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens by picking up threads from not only the original movie, but also Infinity War/Endgame, Spider-Man:…
Does make for a funny ratio though!
Pictures of the actual buttons being discussed here would have helped immensely. I mean, I’m sure the gifs help someone, but I googled the controller (b/c I don’t own one), found the image below, and circled what I think is what’s being discussed.
“they’ve made it increasingly difficult to watch”
Where did you get the idea that only surprises are news?
While sloppily handled I thought she was a commentary on sex object characters. These characters exist all throughout anime or comic-based media and nobody bats an eye. Does Black Widow have a personality in Avengers? Does her falling in love with Hulk or being said about being unable to have children count as…
Our existence is proof of itself. Life can exist. Given the vastness of both time and space, anything that can occur will. Whether something “can” occur will depend on whether the universe is truly random or subject to deterministic chaos.
I mean, the sheer size of Earth means I won’t personally meet most of the people living on the planet. Even if I post a message online that says, “Everyone on Earth, please respond and tell me you exist,” a large number of people won’t — or can’t — reply to that message. That doesn’t mean those people don’t exist.
What that means is they’re sacrificing the product and therefore their long term viability, by chasing only profits. Obviously, any idiot knows companies exist to make money.
*old man voice* used to be games you didn’t have to pay for customization at all...
You’d think that someone with 2 braincells to rub together might realise that hashtags are frequently used ironically or for dramatic/comedic effect rather than for pure technical functionality, having entered the common vernacular as a form of speech in their own right...... Or maybe they did realise but decided to…
No, they donated to MSF. If you reversed a charitable donation to a good cause because some asshat did something stupid for attention, you’d be an even bigger asshat.
Remember when Kotaku wasn’t just a video game site? Remember when Kotaku covered anime? Japanese snack foods? Nerd culture in general?
Ugggh. I read the comment as:
