It would almost be viable if you could compare it to cost of leasing a console, but you can’t really compare it to renting/leasing anymore, because Microsoft just started that program back up, and when that’s up you at least have something physical to show for it that works (mostly) when the internet doesn’t.

It’s really hard to tell what will keep peoples attention these days. There really is a non negligible chance that a medicore show will be enough to distract people. Blizzard gave the money back and reduced the sentence and honestly 90% of the anger seems to have faded with that weak shit.

I was about to advocate for the upgrade offer, for the Xbox One X > Scarlet, if you didn’t already have one, but it looks like you basically have to renew/replace a whole new contract, AND return the One X. So then you’ve spent half the price and gotten nothing to keep for it.

You’re right about it being Game Pass Ultimate, my bad (I based it on Game pass console only and it’s too late to edit). But Game pass Ultimate already includes live gold, so that’s not really a bonus to this. (Also live is only $9.99 monthly, or $59.99 yearly)
