Dragon Quest Builders, while I didn’t hate it, stressed me out. I know the quests aren’t that hard, but the feeling that I HAVE to beat this little campaign in a time limit really killed my desire to build anything. By the time you unlock an enjoyable amount of free build content, I was completely burnt out.
Thor 1 had some serious pacing issues, and overall the delivery wasn’t as good as Black Panther. Half the movie wasn’t really about Thor v Loki but Loki’s MacGuffin Robot.
Take away the sci-fi, and Black Panther is still a fucking trip. Subverting both audience expectations, and comic snob expectations, with a disastrous family squabble that would make Shakespeare proud. I knew it wouldn’t win Best Pictures, but honestly it would have deserved it if it had.
Remember that not ever game gets Early Access, not every game has staggering release. Some games just have a day and come out. Nintendo does that a lot. EA and Anthem’s shenanigans aren’t unusual, but they’re not yet the norm.

The issue isn’t flaming out. It most certainly will. POGO has currently 490+ colorful monsters to collect (not counting alt forms) with a final number that’ll be over 800 come this fall. I don’t know if Harry Potter has announced what it’ll be collecting, but it physically can’t be as interesting.

The core of Anthem is flying through ancient caves and jungles dotted with ruins, and that part of the game could not feel any better.
I think it’ll be about the same. The Harry Potter fandom is often insufferable, but I think the lack of novelty will mitigate it. I’d say it’ll about average out.
Wait, there is one more, that I’d kill for a Switch re-release.
Oracle of ages/seasons is a weird relic from a time when everything needed to have split versions and connectivity. I think those will take more work to redo.
