I honestly think it’s LaGuardia that did it. Government workers are one thing, but now this shutdown has started to hurt “real people” (i.e. rich people)
The best part of keeping it vague is that it lets them apply the rules unevenly. For instance, no one cares about Alex and Sam streaming on Twitch, but anyone criticizing the game might suddenly get the ax.
They’ve stated that as one of their goals. They want the Switch to occupy the same space in people’s lives that the 3DS line did. Obviously it probably wont happen at $300.
That’s their problem.
Nintendo’s endgame is to have multiple Switch per household, to that end they’ll only have won if they greatly exceed Wii sales.
Mostly the backplate. Which if you’re playing mobile, is probably all most people will see, so it makes sense.
Secret service currently isn’t being paid IIRC, and if he wants military rule he would need support of the military.
It was cool the first time, still amusing the 2nd and 3rd.
For Wii/WiiU, there haven’t been that many exciting variations. Then the 3DS there were SO MANY good ones. Now the Switch, which should be going the 3ds route of crazy... has been really underwhelming.
By your own reasoning then, you consider yourself to be a moron?
Time doesn’t seem to exist in Pokemon, Ash has been traveling for an undisclosed time, but everything in past seasons, when brought up, is “recent” enough that it can’t be more than 2 years. Honestly, I don’t think any league but the first one is even still canon 15 minute after it happens, so it might only be about 6…
Think of the weirdest american comics you can. Ones with words in languages that the writers don’t speak, with plot lines out of left field. Imagine someone made a cartoon of that with no sense of irony. That’s all anime is. It’s not inherently weirder than American media, it’s just done with no filter.
Except they do. They sometimes write page long diatribes WHY they ignored whatever anime. They spend MORE TIME writing about why they avoided anime then it would have taken them to WATCH said anime.
I mean, I think it’s finally changing, but anime in particular has a history of normalizing assault. Gross old men are common, and any time someone does anything even vaguely assaulty, it’s almost always a joke. So anime conventions naturally gather people who have internalized this behavior.
It feels like in the last few years, NPR has gotten rather spineless on most accounts. Like they’re too afraid of being called “fake news” to bother to call out any conservatives.
Florida is a mistake.
He. Admitted. It.
1 Pizza/2 people. Some will eat less, some will eat more. If your group eats on average more than half a pizza per person, jfc.
I mean, if it makes you feel better, his gimmick works all of once, so...
