None will ever beat what Nintendo put out on the DS. That was just so happy and fun.

I was all ready to be mad, I thought that we were talking an actual reference relevant to a character, such as Hitler in Persona 2. Removing that without context might be worth at least talking about.
I didn’t even think of that and now I want it!
I’ve been suggesting Super Paper Smash Bros since back when Paper Mario meant something.
Also Super Smash Kart and Party.
Office Space: Idle Profits, out not for iOS and Android from Kongregate, nails the grind in a different sort of way.
Yes. Assuming that the liquor store is in a state with strict portion control laws and knowingly violates those laws.
I’d bet against them bothering to do a N64 classic just because of how much considerably harder it is to emulate (in comparison to NES/SNES). I know it CAN be done, with near 100% playability, but it’s still somewhat messy overall. And even giving Nintendo benefit of the doubt about the ability to do it (asking a lot,…

Currently back into Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Does that count?
You’d more likely get written off as “colorful stormtrooper”. But it’s futurey enough that people would at least recognize it as sci-fi.
Digimon I look at with nostalgia colored glasses, so it’s unfair for me to compare. Summer Wars is acceptable, not top tier, but like, good. 7.5/10.
The sequel is far worse. It’s not even a comparison.
Goddamn the terrible quality on the Mind Game trailer. There are so many artifacts I can’t tell which are intentional and which are just bad compression.
Wasn’t Summer Wars just a (very pretty) retread of an old Digimon movie. It’s good, but somewhat skippable.
