You do realize the kinect isn't towards gamers, and the xbone isn't a primary gaming system anymore. They are branching out the Xbox into a big entertainment centre. There's a reason why GAMERS went for the ps4, it's because the box is a gaming machine.

Well why do you think the pre order is less than the ps4? They got backlash from the gamers and gamestop and obviously word of mouth spread, thus affecting their sales. Because it is not for you or for me. I am a gamer I need a controller to play. But the Kinect is amazing for the other audiences. My nephews are having a blast playing kinect sports and my older relatives uses it. Plus it's great if you lost your tv remote.

You do realize I was exaggerating on that. Kinect is great for another audience that aren't gamers, like my parents or tech experts. Its a gimmick that works amazingly with those audience.

I disagree, the gamers were wrong. Their original plan was awesome. They only listened because the audience are paranoid about being recorded and are lazy to move a limb.

It's unfortunate they are doing this. Most of their r&d is towards the kinect and them just giving up on it because some neckbeard is unable to move his hand is just sad. Also people think it's going to record them. They're a top tier company, not a virus or the government.
