They both lost control of their dragons. Luke’s shot at Vhagar even if Luke didn’t issue the command, so Vhagar, old and cranky Vhagar, lost it and decided to go for the kill.

Both of them lost control of their dragons. When Arrax attacked Vhagar, you can hear both Lucerys and Aemond trying to get them back in control.
And when before Vhagar killed them you can hear Aemond trying to restrain Vhagar
Aemond is a bully but is not stupid. He didn’t want to kill Lucerys (at least in the show).…
I presume that in the moment Aemond just wanted to bully Luke on dragonback or toy with him a bit before forcing him to land so he could go for the eye in a good old fashioned bit of swordplay, but the dragon assumed it was all part of a hunt.
The ending scene where Rhaenyra peers into the camera with fire and blood in her eyes was absolutely perfect. What a way to end a great season of television that restored our faith in the ASOIAF universe. With the future of the books in limbo and an ever-changing schedule surrounding them, it had to bring GRRM a sense…
“House Of The Dragon seems to have wildly varying ideas of what a 14-year-old looks like.”
a) she’s rich. b) she’s british c) she’s old. Many older brits feel an attachment to tradition and the crown.
Her name was just, “Feral Queen,” so it was probably just her likeliness, not actually her.
Pretty sure they meant ghouls (probably feral ghouls).
What would a second season even have been? If Cyberpunk continues as an anime I hope that each ‘season’ is its own thing. An anthology series fits this world so much better. There are so many stories that could be told, just following these same characters would be a waste.
I’m glad there is no season 2. That story played out and ended beautifully. I wouldn’t say no to an entirely different Cyberpunk anime.
fine with me, it wrapped up cleanly and was great, didn’t feel bloated by being too long, didn’t end with a cliffhanger. this leaves them open for a different series in the same world if they want to do something else, edgerunners doesn’t need a sequel.
Tom Strong was around twenty years ago. A man’s opinion can change drastically in that time. His recent work which has touched on the genre (the latter volumes of LoEG) doesn’t suggest a particularly deep amount of lingering affection for it.
Sure, I’ll happily acknowledge he’s got both character and a fair beef with DC, but I’ll also politely suggest that nearly forty years of being lauded as possibly the greatest comics writer of all time would likely have a more boosting than draining effect on someone’s ego. It doesn’t always manifest as Kanye.
Again, I ask people to not look at him as “Alan Moore” the figure in modern comics history but look at him as a human being who worked for DC for about five or six years back in the 1980s’ and has always spoken out about the unjust and sinister tactics deployed that he became alarmed by. Until people read and read and…
Han Solo dying really cheered him up.
I mean, it’s only natural to change your opinions on things or tastes over time. Especially to grow disillusioned with stuff you once loved. You can see it now outside of Moore with people who talk about getting “superhero fatigue” from the MCU’s constant releases. Most authors are their own harshest critics. You put…
Hale has nothing to do with this issue. She was offered a job and took it, she didn’t rob anyone. Anyone giving her any grief is a typical troll.
I have heard several Devil’s Advocate arguments that are causing me to reexamine (note: not fully reverse) my sympathies for Hellena Taylor.
When my dad was a teenager in the late 1950s, he used to work as a dishwasher at a Mexican restaurant that was near the local cemetery. To get to work, he could either walk the long way around the cemetery, which was twice as far, or cut straight through it. More often than not, he’d opt to go through the cemetery.
