You need to earn their loyalty for them to succeed, as I recall.

I wouldn’t call the show horror, per se. The genre of Serial Experiments Lain is hard to pin down, a bit sci-fi, a bit mysticism, a bit mystery, all big mindfuck. It’s one of those shows you have to watch several times before you can grasp the big picture.

They’re not remaking the original trilogy, at least not yet. They’ll be spinoffs, mostly based on the story threads in the Appendices.

It was his new wife’s house?

British shows have always been 6-10 episodes long per season. Length has no bearing on quality.

That sure as hell didn’t help. I don’t know why he felt the need to turn a whirlwind adventure into LOTR Parts IV - VI.

Wyvern is just a subtype of dragon. Some mythological dragons have no limbs at all, or crazy numbers of heads, tails and/or limbs.

No? There is a story, the method of storytelling is unconventional, but if anything it’s more work for the writers than a regular, paint by the numbers narrative.

The circumstantial evidence in the key art supports the notion everything I just mentioned will come to a head very soon. We don’t see a sun anywhere in the horizon. The title: Shadow of the Erdtree. What’s causing it?

The lore of the Soulslike games wouldn’t be half as satisfying if it was spoonfed to us like a regular RPG. Being able to make connections and figure stuff out for yourself is the whole point.

If we have to choose between believable and boring and emotionally compelling and a little unlikely, I choose the latter.

They think that they can grow the mutated cordyceps in Ellie’s brain in petri dishes and inject it or the chemicals it produces into other people. It’s not a very complex operation as far as drug production goes, and presumably they hope that once they can demonstrate success they’ll get more people on their side who

Not to mention that you can do brain biopsies without killing the patient.

There are various circumstances where the passengers can demand compensation from the airline. I would suspect this is one of them, considering that the severe delay wasn’t caused by technical problems or the weather. Airlines being what they are, lawyers will probably have to be involved before they part from a

The patrols they send around, like the one that Ellie and Joel ran into, hunt anything that moves, including people.

“Giant underground skeleton” probably refers to the skeleton sitting on the throne in one of the Eternal Cities. It doesn’t seem to be the same kind of entity as the Fire Giant, and is in wrong part of the map, anyhow. I’ve generally assumed that it had something to do with the Nox’s experiments in creating their own

It’s heavily implied in game and verified in some deleted material that Miquella has a female alter ego known as St. Trina. Whether St. Trina is an actual genderbent version of Miquella or just a result of Miquella’s androgyny is unknown, so it’s best to hedge your bets.

Godwyn’s mutated body can be bound in Deeproot Depths. You can find Fia and her compatriots guarding it. Some people miss it since it’s so huge and malformed that it almost blends in the background, but Fia keeps referencing Godwyn as you talk with her, so it should be clear that what she’s kneeling in front of is

If you don’t seek the answers online, you will have the pure, personal experience that the devs strived to give you. You will not finish, or even find, every single quest, but the ones you do will be even more memorable for it. Elden Ring is not supposed to be a completionist game, you are expected to miss stuff on a

Those two narratives may be intertwined. Miquella wanted to restore Godwyn’s dead soul to his body, after all.
