I don't think he'll change many peoples minds, but he's doing what he can to bring attention to something he feels strongly about. It's something everyone should do.

In any case, I turn off my son’s video games all the time. If I need to go to the store and I want him to come with me I walk right into the living room and say, “Time to go to the store,” and turn the video game off.
