When you are shipped from your home country to a land that has everything that wants to kill you, you make rules to reduce the unnecessary deaths. I mean I am a fan of Darwinism but Darwin award winners don’t need to be killing off the smart people with unsafe modifications to a 5000 lb wrecking ball (aka car/truck).

You have never met an Australian, have you? They’re some of the most fun-loving people I’ve ever met.

Nobody decided it was a baby picture of Lisa and that Maggie wears her hand-me-downs?

Fair point. All apologies to Egg Shen.

slacker damsel in distress Jack Burton, who spends the whole movie being rescued from his own stupidity by Wang, the only competent character in the movie.”

after the musical number, when deadpool gives up, can we get a scene of hugh jackman actually having claws, like maybe using them to scratch his ass in his dressing room, revealing that he really was wolverine pretending to be jackman all along?

Having the movie open with Deadpool approaching Hugh Jackman with this amazing opportunity to play Wolverine and having Jackman sing Go Fuck Yourself in a full Broadway number seems to be the best option.

Yea, considering it became a plot point of Holt and Peralta preparing for it well in advance and seeing as it was Gina who won the last one I can see her springing it as a surprise event. I hope Hitchcock wins this year.

What a great comic. Thanks for the reminder.

Wow, that hit me in the feels. I really need to start reading comic books.

Oh wow. That’s an amazing run of pages.

OK. THAT crossover could redeem the DCCU Superman......

This looks absolutely delightful!   A worthy addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

I’m reminded of Superman/Captain Marvel: First Thunder, where Superman finds out that Captain Marvel (or Shazam because of weird copyright issues) is a small child, confronts the wizard Shazam about the fact that he thrusted a child with that much power and responsibility, and then decides to become Billy’s mentor.

I also like how they’re implied to be more competent than they appear at first glance, but still not very competent when all is said and done.

still holding out for a Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters sequel/trilogy

I always loved the Thor films (especially when they leaned into the goofiness), so watching him go from the “Ugh, that guy” of the MCU to a fan favourite has been very gratifying.

After IW and before seeing this, I agreed. It was a predictable and easy way to tie it in without hurting the tone. But watching the movie, I had all but forgotten about the Snap. When it cut out to the dust, it was like all the fun escapism of the movie washed away and I was right back to “I don’t feel so good”. It

Honestly, I had that thought going in but the tone of the movie was fun and light-hearted that by the end I really didn’t think anyone was going to get dusted. Certainly not the entire Pym family, so it caught me off guard.

When Rose kissed Finn, it took me out of the movie. I was just thinking, “What about Poe? That’s bullshit.”
