Unfortunately it still seems to be a thing. I posted one of those Edward vs Angel/Bella vs Buffy memes on Face Book last week and had way more people react to it in support of the awesomeness that was Edward and how Bella was so beautiful than I expected (mind you, I didnt expect any Edward/Bella people, so I was

Ditto.

Nope. Not alone at all. :)

I did the same. I was told by someone whose reading matter I trust I would be completely hooked on the whole series of books and to be prepared for sleepless nights reading. I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting, but the second half of the book wasn't it.

I am totally going to write this. In fact, screw my current deadline. I'm sure my editor won't mind if I miss it. This has to happen. This WILL happen. I will make it happen.

I'm pretty certain The Husband and I will be seeing it at a Midnight (22nd) screening...as long as I can convince my babysitter she needs to spend 3 hours in the middle of the night, on a school night, sitting in our living room while we indulge ourselves :)

Kelsey Grammer as Cogsworth is brilliant casting. Sideshow Bob via Beast? I'm in :)

I'm in Newcastle, MedSci. Our house backs onto a bush reserve. We get a lot of creepy crawlies in our place. But also a lot of awesome wildlife like kookaburras magpies and cockatoos. Oh and the odd possum or two.

Agreed. I was just pointing out how my Aussie girls responded. I guess I was trying to support the decision to ban the episode here by pointing out, in an Australian context, how well-aware our kids are of the dangers of some Australian spiders.

I get that. And I pointed out that very thing to my daughters, which then led to a wonderful hour or so exploring British wildlife online. But to Australian children (who were only 9 and 6 at the time and not well-versed in every living creature to be found in the world) the comment seemed quite dangerous, aka

that's very accommodating and helpful of him 😄

I guess. I grew up in the country, and my pop only had an outside loo. I would spend at least 10mins in there everytime I needed to go, counting how many red-back spiders were making their webs in the place. Usually above my head.

This is the third Funnel Web we've found in our house this month. Our girls (10 and 7) are well versed in what spiders are friendly (Daddy long legs) and which ones are not (Funnel Webs being from the later grouping).

Having just seen The Kingsman last Friday, I am definitely nominating it (and recommending everyone see it). Yes, it's violent. Yes, it's cheesy at times, but holy crap, is it awesome.

Soooo network tv good-looking....

Seeing it Friday. Cannot wait! I will say, Colin Firth (who is, and has always been, my One Free Pass) for the next Bond. I'm serious.

Ahh true. So true.
