I need a vaccine for whatever respiratory sinus infection/cough of death thing I have that’s been plaguing me for the last two weeks. It isn’t the flu, because I got tested for that and it came back negative, but whatever it is feels so much worse than just a cold. My doctor was like, lol, here’s some Sudafed, go back

As somebody with a compromised immune system, I nicely ask for you to not kill me and please get your shot. <3

About seven years ago I worked in this auto body shop called Charles Gross and Son. Chuck was a great boss, he paid pretty well and he was fair with hours and knew a ton about cars. He was like 64 and he kept up to date on all sorts of changes in the industry—like he was one of the first people I knew to get

Also, I am one of the most respected armchair physicians in the country. And if my ability to diagnose and help armchairs isn’t in any way transferrable to NFL quarterbacks, then I don’t even know why I spent all those years at Chesterfield med school.

“This points out something important. That armchair doctors at home cannot make a concussion diagnosis on video alone. ... ”

I couldn’t help reading this without wondering if a Will It Instant Pot? series is imminent.

I blew up a couple of ex-boyfriends’ homes. Satisfied with the results.

Hijabs are still representative of one of the worst forms of patriarchy on a global scale. No amount of good lighting and Photoshop can change that.

Whoa, this is disturbing and neat.

You’re missing the point. It’s not about whether the Republicans are being honest or not. They’ll be in the exact same position in three weeks that they are now, able to force a shutdown and blame the ruling party to save DACA. Only now they’ll have CHIP funding taken care of, so the Republicans won’t be able to hold

What Republican demands did the Dems accede to? They literally just gave themselves more time to negotiate while stripping the R’s of some of their leverage.

We got CHIP funded for 6 years in exchange for kicking the can for 3 weeks. I believe in the February go-around we will get DACA passed in exchange for wasting $20B or so on a useless wall.

They gave it up for three weeks. And when it comes around then, CHIP will be off the table.

Taking CHIP off the table was a good get.

What am I missing?

As far as I can tell, the Dems just voted to put things off a couple weeks in exchange for long term CHIP funding and didn’t give the R’s anything they wanted. So all this means is that when it comes back up in a few weeks, the R’s won’t be able to hold CHIP hostage.

Ah, once again the Democrats are most concerned about being seen as the “reasonable” party that is willing to work together and compromise.

CHIP is funded, WH is out of the picture, and Feb 8 deadline is all about DACA. It’s not as grim as people are making it out to be.

What have the Republicans done in the last 10 years to show they can be trusted in the slightest or will take responsibility for any of their actions.

These are the 33 Democrats who probably think Lucy will let Charlie Brown finally kick that football too.
