Also taking a page from aerospace instrument design, the huge tach bar makes it easy to judge engine RPM by with a glance. Experienced S2000 pilots probably don't even need to concentrate on the tach to accurately gauge their RPM. 

Well most of us can judge RPM semi accurately by sound or vehicle feel, but the S2000's…

I used to ride motorcycles.

The only thing I can wish for is factory-equipped heads-up displays for touring models. Data readouts nearer to line of sight is always nice to have for street riding - so much that I attached smartphones under the windshield to provide that function.

HUDs only work for tourers and cruisers…

That looks pretty cool. I like the minimalist motorcycle style approach. 

HDB Hub at Toa Payoh would be a better analogy. Masses of buildings (of all shapes and sizes) clustered into one messy place that's bound to confuse virtually all newcomers.
