I believe its in XSEED's hands, since it just merged with Marvelous. I've heard they wanna do it, but are a bit afraid because of the subject matter... I say, GO FOR IT! :D

I actually love Mario Party games. Not much the board thing, but some of the minigames are hilarious for couch multiplayer!
