That's the same situation with me. In Pokemon Leafgreen, I had Charzard and and Omastar that I trained an leveled simultaneously I've used them in every game since. And I thought it was just my weird obsession for Omnastar! :D

From personal experience: the "normal folk" who do not live and breathe video games only play COD to death because their friends do. And they know the name. They aren't going to know or care that Respawn is an offshoot from the old Infinity Ward Devs. They'll probably see it as just another COD ripoff.
