Yeah, but pretty much everything is like that.

I played with a mouse and keyboard, too, and only obtained a controller well after I played it the first time. It won't mar your experience- have fun!

I recommend the Microsoft 360 controller for your PC if you don't have one already- the controls are very console-y, though they didn't do a bad job with the mouse+keyboard at all.
