What's with the tone in this article? I can imagine making a left turn on green when the approaching vehicle is accelerating at an annoying rate; the distance you gauge is applicable in 99.9% of cases, but then the Lambo driver stomps on the gas and can close the intersection faster than you can react.

I find it strange that an MMO can actually die... server space/hosting is much, much cheaper than it was 10 years ago, so I get the cessation of content updates, but subscriptions cannot float the costs just to keep the game going online? Can MMOs really die that much?

I can actually sympathize, despite adoring Ocarina of Time. I didn't dig Windwaker because it seemed a complete re-hash of each of its predecessors, injecting only a few new features and styles, but basically sidling its comfort zone under the gossamer veil of some mythological legacy. That's the one. Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. If you don't mind the late X-Box (the first one) graphics, it is an excellent game that perfectly encapsulates the feel of Lovecraft, the game loosely based off of The Shadow Over Innsmouth.

I adored this game, but this fucking puzzle broke me. I don't even know that it was all that scary, but the time pressure mixed with the fact that if you stared at the Cthulhu statue you would go insane and kill yourself in game. Nope'd. I'd even pick up there again these days since I am not personally suicide-y
