Completely disagree. It was an effective scene. They’re not going to kill off any of the main characters so this was the next best thing to demonstrate that no one is safe. This is a thriller. Yes, it’s marketed heavily at a younger audience but it’s not a rated “G” movie.
Ahh, yes. The safe space logic that anyone who dies in a movie has to deserve it. It was an intense scene. It showed how helpless everyone was. It was nice to see the movie take a risk and up the ante.
