Winter Soldier was fantastic. You know who wasn’t in Winter Soldier?

Because the people making them are wizards at After Effects, not writing. This also explains the horrible ending to the sketch.

I was very disappointed with the Beta, especially the flight controls and confusing shooting mechanics (i.e. I’ll shoot a guy with a full clip and he’ll turn and run away, while I die after three shots).

Still, it looks great and I love Star Wars. I’ll wait for the Game of the Year edition like I’m doing for Arkham

A lot of people defend Phantom Menace by pointing out the Pod Race or Lightsaber fights. I always counter that they’re cool sequences, but they don’t make for a great movie. I enjoyed your breakdown and I’ll respectfully disagree about “This is podracing” as being the most Star Wars type scene as I could never buy

Right... The prequels are so good and a huge metaphor for something else, but most people are too stupid to understand it. Except you.

It couldn’t possibly be bad writing, shallow characters, and unengaging plots. No. It’s a huge deconstruction that went over people’s heads...

I’ll have whatever it is that you’ve been

They’ve addressed this multiple times. It’s a game they’re interested in and have spent a lot of time playing. Take your tired argument somewhere else.

Trials is now completely dominated with one hit kill snipers. The amount of aim assist and no-flinch on snipers makes them god like. I only used to run into a handful of players who kill instantly like that, but now they’re all over the place. It’s no fun for me as one player on the opposite team can consistently down

Not really. Keep reaching.

The original trilogy does that without having to watch the terrible prequels.

No one wants to jump from the amazing cliff hanger of Empire to watch 6+ hours of medicore prequel garbage before finally getting to the resolution of the good trilogy. Nice try.

This is a niche market character that has limited mass audience appeal. It’s juvenile “adult” humor and cheap jokes. They’re dumping it in Feburary which is no-man’s land for movie releases. They’ll make a small profit but Deadpool fans, who are almost as insufferable as Bernie Sanders supporters, think it’s going to

Agreed. Had the title just been the slow crawl reveal to space and then having slick white text appear tastefully in the bottom corner instead of sloppily jump cutting to immersion breaking logos, I would have been much more impressed initially.

These fan films always confuse me. The visuals and effects are always impressive, but the script, editing, acting, and pacing are never anything beyond medicore. It feels like a wasted effort given how much work I know went into creating this.

Came to post this. Thank you.

This is not okay. Whoever hit him needs to be charged.

Edit: Can I get out of the gray, please?

The original expanded universe is no longer cannon. This has been Lucasfilm’s position since these new movies moved into development. They wanted to take the story in a different direction. You can still enjoy those stories, but they’re no longer what actually happens.

Much appreciated. Thanks.

* The prequels are an insult to the entire mythos of the universe.

There, Fred. I fixed it.

Born in 1980. Right there with you.

As a movie, yes, it works as a fitting end to a trilogy. But in the original expanded universe, and now what they’re doing with episode VII, the Empire suffers a major defeat, but that in no way completely erases its existance from the galaxy. There’s even new official fiction that details the period between Jedi and
