Blood testing was done on the driver, which came back clean. He surrendered his phone and it was shown he hadn’t been using it before the crash.

I’m just playing devil’s advocate here, but I ride a train every day, there are times despite me being on it for 200+ days a year, for now four years, that I look out the window and have no idea which station is next, like it takes my brain some time to register.

pedantic me FTFY (no C in Amtrak)

Everyone is going to mention all of the American examples, but lets take a look at some high-end examples:

Damn near every high performance V8 from GM uses two valves per cylinder still. Ford had the Triton engines with three valves as well.

Corvettes still have 2 valves/cylinder, along with the 5.3 truck I just bought.

Ford 5.4 up until 2014 was a 3-valve in the F-series and Expedition
All GM and Chrysler V8s are 2-valve because pushrods.

Two valves weren’t uncommon in the early 2000s.

Mmm, the 6.7L Cummins.

I mean... there is an inline six still in use that is American... does it not count because it’s diesel?

Is it dusty in here?

Poor lane integrity is a big one for me. Not keeping in lane on the highway, or more often than not ending up in the incorrect lane after a left or right turn. (We all do the latter, but not 100% of the time)

...there was some debris on the road and the driver lost traction.

Lack of engine noise has been an issue since headphones (portable) became a thing. So at this point, it just feels like a culling of the herd if you’re not paying attention.

Does this mean the car is totaled?

You forgot to mention the difference in seat pitch. Amtrak has more legroom than our corporate jet.

I got it from here! I picked the middle, non-sleeper option.

GLORIOUS FORMER PLACE OF SOVIET UNION!

Can we all applaud and celebrate that he used landscape mode?

What’s more chickenshit than fucking with a man’s automobile? I mean, don’t fuck with another man’s vehicle. You don’t do it. It’s just against the rules.
