The first two are actually OK first cars; reasonably sized, slow, not very good looking, and if you stick with the low-end models, pretty weak in terms of power.
Anything with more than 120 hp per (metric) ton and/or weighs more than 3,000 lbs (~1,400 kg). Additionally, no electronic nannies or AWD nonsense. How can you appreciate that stuff if you don't know what it's like to drive without them?
