actually, i started up the nightfall when i got home from work, and the door opened fine. i’m in the middle of soloing it, and i didn’t jump up on the raised platform in the middle of the portal room until all enemies in the room were dead. i recorded a clip with the ogre out and the door open.

as pointed out by somebody on reddit, the glitch may be happening because today’s daily is regicide, which takes you through the same area...except instead of the door opening, a portal opens. i’m looking forward to the nightfall working tomorrow when there is a different daily, then bungie telling us that they fixed…
