@AlexJAnder: They are actually, Angry Birds is surprisingly good. Other apps like Fruit Ninja are also extremely addictive.

@etnie77: Foobar. Not bloated at all, but requires some setup. I recommend this theme:

@Whitson Gordon: Since I whipe my cookies semi-regularly that was the problem I had with it. I didn't know that account support was added. The new public links are also very awesome.

Posted my system on openthread the other day, but I'll repeat it here :-)

@kondrik: Which distribution have you set up for them? And what do they think of it?

Sounds awesome, but I can't. No writing experience at all :-) Also I'm 16 and live in Holland. I'll try again next time, when I got my CAE.

So what exactly is that app when you swipe down your notifications bar?

Okay I'll try it out. I'll be on the "LH chat" for the next 15 mins. Who's with me?

Everything ends in 2012 :-O

@greg12: That phase is over, now just fill in the poll ;-)

@PaulLA: This is the (no longer maintained link) It is precompiled.

@Marand: That was also what I hoped and thought when I saw sukumar's comment. Sometimes the temptation is just too big. ;-)

@sukumar2: Well as Marand pointed out the penguin is the logo for the Linux kernel, not for GNU/Linux, so I was a bit off.

@Marand: Of course I had to mess that up :-P I realised just after the 15 minutes that it also could the the mascot of the kernel.

@sukumar2: What you are referring to is the kernel, which is not the penguin. The OS is the penguin, not the kernel. The correct name of the OS is GNU/Linux.

@TheNobleRobot: Either they're a Gawker property and they are equally responsible, *or* they're an independent voice and must hold Gawker's feet to the fire.

@wjglenn: You can get rid of the fragmentation by following these instructions: (note that all files have to be in the same library)

Okay everyone, this is something that should be cleared up: Lifehacker isn't a synonym for Gawker. Adam does his best here to assure that a future breach like this, here or somewhere else, doesn't have the same far going consequences as this one did.
