@Sudeep Mandal: Thank you very much! I was looking for that. I killed the grub loader when I tried to update to 10.04. It works (for now), thank you again.
@tmlfan81: So far I can tell you don't need accounts or passwords. It is an online document editor that integrates with your system, and because it is lighter then OpenOffice I'm sold.
@buono: Seems very nice, too bad I have an Android phone, so I cannot try it.
@Coolou424: When ordering online from some manufacturers (that is a new customized & pricey PC) like Sony, you can ask them to remove the pre-installed shit programs, and get a clean computer.
@dragonskin: Great, hadn't seen those mock-ups yet. Gotta remember that blog.
I use Lastpass for now, but once Mozilla implements their password manager and finishes up Fennec, I'll drop it in an instant.
Those kill lists seem pretty usefull to me, I'll give it a go.
@chris_j_wright48: Most of the teachers at my school will just simply kill you if you do something like that. If you boot in another OS you can do whatever you want; you have admin rights. You can kill the pc effectively in Linux with some command.
Nice one! I would like to know where I can get that monitor stand from nr. 10, does anyone have an idea?
@Felix26591: Great site, looked for something like this a long time. Thank you!
VOTE: Last.fm
@Firesphere: The only thing I can think of is that some malware/virus changes the Windows update server in XP, so that you'll download loads and loads of mallware.
@y0urm0msname: I'm right wing, why do you want to know? It's field hockey btw.
Happy Friday everyone!
@crichton007: Yeah I did, it completely messed up my music collection, good thing I had a backup. BTW I am currently syncing my iTunes library with iTunes Agent, which works pretty well so far.
I'm a happy iTunes user, but now I got an Android I'm looking for a better player. Still WMP doesn't feel right for me. Can anyone recommend a good and easy to use iTunes like Foobar theme/skin?
I'm not going to test it, because I know then I will do this all evening.
Some homescreen widgets would be nice, also multitasking and a customizable lockscreen. [EDIT: said homescreen meant lockscreen]
You can say what you want about Rainmeter, but isn't the hive five about what tool most Lifehacker readers use to get a job done, in this case tweaking.
