Well you sir, Hollywood and the reporter are all stuck in the past :( The gas pump is now under a manhole cover. That thing on the island is just a vending machine the meters out gas in exchange for stealing your cc information.

The flying boat makes more sense, many states don’t require a boaters license and clearly driver’s licenses haven’t worked for cars from what I’ve seen on the road I don’t want those drivers flying over me :(
There’s a Rover 2000 for sale on US 70 in NJ if you’re really feeling brave. The bonnet is a different color so I’m guessing the single nut that holds down the hood and safety (British engineering) came loose at some point, that would mean it probably has a new wind screen too.
Apparently city raccoon’s don’t j-walk and use the crosswalks to avoid being run over by non-AI cars that sometimes actually stop at Stop signs
The Tesla could also use the wind up key on the trunk and the little 4"X 12" solar panel on the dash plugged into the lighter to keep the battery charged :)
Loose lips sink ships!
Oh you had to bring this up, my 57 Chevy convertible, the 65 Mustang, the 67 Shelby GT-350, my ex’s Karman-Ghia, the 68 Abarth OTS1000, the 68 Corvair Spyder or even the crappy VW 21 window van
When you are in military that body of yours is theirs, don’t burn it with exploding batteries or turkey friers!
Erin, being a Detroit girl and already a fan of GM you should drive a Pontiac Aztec, they sure won’t overlook it in the parking lot and it’s not boring :)
Sure, pine for a soft ride and a hard wood for a stiffer ride!
So if one of those meteors that always seem to be flashing across Russian dash cams hits something radioactive and the command center we are all doomed :(
My first car, an old Austin having an electrical failure on a dark lonely road, no surprise there. A series of VW’s braking things, shifter dropping thru the floor, no surprise there. The Mustang skipping timing, unexpected but it’s a Found On Road Dead. No the saddest was my new GT-350 getting a flat on a rainy day…
The bugeye had a lot of interesting options, for and extra fee you could get a heater and/or a top. We actually had a prof in Princeton who didn’t go for the top. We had to loan him one for NJ State Inspection because they didn’t believe him that it was an option. When his daughter took the car for inspection they…
My son loved it back there, one night we got home, tried to scoop him out and he said he wanted to stay there. We left an outside light on, about an hour later he came in saying we had forgotten him!
Last month I saw one of these being towed in Florida on a rope behind a pick-up, the owner wouldn’t even spring for a tow truck :( And of course when they tried to pull away from a stop sign the rope broke, again because it already had a half dozen knots in it :( CP
By 2019 there will be an app for that!
Town I live in would require it have plates, that means driveable, passes inspection and insured. I’ve had to turn down some “projects” because I’ve only got a one car garage :(
I’m guessing that’s not on the CarFax report :(
My RV is an E-350 but Ford doesn’t make any cars that I’d want other than a GT and I don’t think I could slip that toy past my wife :(
Actually deadloads are launched at Lakehurst into the the NJ Pinelands sometimes when the tailhook fails to catch :( And no we don’t make right hand drive models for the English.
