It isn't about stupidity, it's about history. I never argued, nor would I ever, that Palin is smart. But like it or not, she's part of US history in a way that transcends anything that Stephen A. Smith could offer to an (admittedly mediocre) academic institution.

You seem to be unaware of how the electoral process works. See below:

In fairness (and I would NEVER defend her under normal circumstances), Sarah Palin was a little more than 'the mayor of a town in Alaska.' She was the governor of Alaska, and won her party's nomination for Vice President. Of like, the United States.

Definitely surprised by the result last night, but it should be noted that the Knicks shot out of their minds last night. After a rough first quarter, they couldn't miss. Is it fair to say that this was a factor too?

In his exile, Ali has achieved the universal adoration and financial stability that boxing never could provide, and without incurring any more of the ring's costs. In simply laying back while sucker after sucker, the author included, throws flurries of words that never even come close to nailing his meaning on the

Seems like the problem most people have with Greenpoint (where I live) has more to do with what they think it is rather than what it actually is. Sure, there are a few rich kids who live there, but there are also plenty of people who simply like to live there. Families who have lived there for a generation or two.

Why? I see, a neighborhood with good restaurants, music, nightlife and parking spaces bothers you. Fuck ever even THINKING.

I know I'm in the minority here, believe me, but I think Ghostbusters is completely overrated.

I love the exterior - except for the blue accent. Is that some kind of i-branding or something? Otherwise, gorgeous.

Not sure - I think that's a glass in his hands though.

Can I ask a barely tangential question? Who the fuck actually says ''Murica' like that? Who?! I've only seen this in writing on the internet, and never heard it said this way in real life.

Couldn't agree more with this. The difference, regardless of the market forces at play, is equity (such as it is when applied to a car purchase). Leases afford you no equity, and if you do the 'option to buy' version you are always paying more than you would have had you decided to buy in the first place. Banks

That's a fair point to make if Millard's article was about Jeezy's use of metaphor to explain the Jacquerie peasant rebellion. But the article is about how the music sounds.

Right, because 'Hip Hop' isn't worthy of in-depth analysis? Is everything written about hip hop 'overwrought'? How do you generally prefer your music criticism?

Jimmy Connors was the first player I remember doing this. Predates Seles by a couple decades.

You say you can prove it. Do so. SHOW ME HOW THE SUFFERING IS DIFFERENT. Did you read that slowly?

Not everything Drew wrote is true. Three's Company was set in Santa Monica, not San Diego.

One of the great things about so many 'black comics' (by which I'm sure you mean comics in general) is the ability to create themes in their acts, themes which are reinforced by the occasional repetition of certain lines. Doing this ties the act together neatly, and ensures that the audience doesn't lose track of

So is your 'argument' that black men (I won't include black women, only because you didn't) have a monopoly on suffering oppression in America? If so, do you think that they are the only people who are entitled to equality?
