Hi Friend!

It’s Momma

We bought our new house right at the outset of COVID, so we were able to get the ”panic” price, and got our old house listed just as the market was getting into its “Oh, nevermind” phase. The new place is only about two miles from the old, so while we were waiting for the closing date, we rode our bikes over just to

I made an account just to post this story. I’ve been wanting to do this for years, but I am a terrible writer and never comment on anything because of this, so bear with me regarding any grammatical or writing errors.

Decided to share my not-scary, yes-supernatural story.

People always share really heartwarming ghost stories in this contest. This isn’t that exactly, but I hope it’s the prelude to someone else’s heartwarming ghost story.

Here’s the underwear story!

“December 1941"

About 11 years ago, myself, my husband and our one-year-old daughter moved into a house on a quiet cul-de-sac in a great neighbourhood. The house had been built in the 70’s and had not been updated, so inside it wasn’t overly attractive, but it was spacious with a nice little yard and it was affordable. Weird things

As my parents gave me more freedom and independence so they could enjoy themselves as adults I was often left at home to do homework, talk on the phone, or as I was wont to do: listen to Van Halen. In the spring of 1980, at 13, we lived on the West Bank military base across the Mississippi river from New Orleans. My

(Late submission last year, cleaned up a bit. I apologize if it falls into the “long” category, but no effusive descriptions I promise):

My mom grew up in a small farm in the middle-of-nowhere northwestern Minnesota. Her dad died before I was born, but I regularly visited her mom (my grandmother) still living at the farm, until she passed when I was a teenager. My grandmother was the prototypical Great Depression-forged Midwest farm wife of Norwegian

I’ll preface this by saying I’m a skeptic-as much as I’d like supernatural things to exist, I find it hard to believe. I’m sure there’s a logical explanation for what I encountered, but that doesn’t stop it from being the weirdest fucking thing I’ve ever experienced.

The Ghost Children

I just shared another story about a ghost ‘boop,’ but I’ve had a lot of weird crap happen so here goes another!

A few years ago I was home visiting my father from college. Due to a long history of other spooky experiences (including dark figures, light figures, and a weird underwear experience), I was not keen to sleep at this house. But it was late, I was tired, and I ended up falling asleep on our couch in the living room.

Back in 2011 I spent 6 months studying abroad in Cape Town, SA. It was largely a great experience, but at least at that time the amount of violence against women was incredibly high. We were constantly warned by program admins to be on guard when we traveled around, but of course being 20 years old I didn’t take their

This happened 30 years ago. My dad and two friends were on a backpacking trip to a remote region of the Medicine Bow Wilderness. It was a quick, uneventful weekend trip, and the two friends actually left early Sunday morning to get home because they had to work the next day (it’s about a 2 hour hike in from the canyon

I’ve experienced many a spooky thing in my life but this one hands down is my favorite. I used to live in an apartment building that was originally a doctors house from about 1900. My sensitive friends and I took the time to identify the different ghosts we felt around the house there was a little girl and everyone

My favorite time of year!
