I have a friend who bought a car for her husband this year for the holidays. Funny thing is, she doesn't work. (So she's buying him a car with his money???)

Could have used this article a year and a half ago. *sigh*

Swiftkey is a godsend on non-swype phones and tablets. But in my opinion it isn't $4 worth of improvement if your device already has swype.

I agree!

Not lifetime! This needs to be a Hollywood or Sundance film.
It'll reach a bigger audience and people won't assume that it has the "all men are villains" exaggeration most lifetime movies have.

I'm SO happy that I'm not the only one who doesn't smile in selfies. It drives the bf nuts, but I'm not going to smile if I don't feel like it. (I'm a "victim" of BRF)

Those are pretty, but I don't like them on those below freezing days.

I just got that one from Target the other day. $12 :)

Something that wasn't really mentioned but is worth the effort is getting a job at the college you want to attend. Many colleges will give their "official" employees free classes. The university I worked at offered 2 free classes a semester at that school and 1 free a semester at any other state university.

It works! Thank you.

The link to Amazon's sale on clothing directs to a 404 error page.

Superglue the seat down. Or put something really nasty (like chocolate) under the seat so when he grabs it to lift it up he gets brown stuff all over his hands. >:D

I have a tablet now, otherwise I would consider it.

It's a hell of a lot lighter/smaller. I can fit a tablet and small bluetooth keyboard in a messenger bag/purse. I guess if I had a chromebook it would be different, but even my 14" laptop is too heavy to carry with me to/from work on a daily basis.

If you are in school or do a lot of writing, a tablet with a bluetooth keyboard is a great substitute for a laptop (notebooks don't have word processing power and therefore are used for different purposes.)

Audiobooks are great.

The best part about this ad is that they are still saying girls can achieve great things. Way to empower our youth! :)

Focus on the skills attained through the job, rather than the title.

That can happen? I thought dislocation was for joints only.

She sounds like an amazing person. I'm sorry to hear she passed but I hope she led a very rewarding life. We need more people like her.
