I like your plan, but I don't want to wait until I'm 40 to get well paid. Can we move that goal (and the 50+ one) up by 10 years? :P

That is a lot! Even if he was working 2-3 jobs at a time, I don't know if any of the shorter stints would count as "experience."

Thank you! You have articulated what I've been trying to say to my boyfriend for the past 2 years. (His wandering eye was his main argument for not wanting to be "official".)

Oh! Okay. That makes a lot more sense!

Maybe lack of consistency is the issue with you then?

Best advice ever given: when in a new relationship, keep the crazy under covers.

See, I've had the inverse of that experience. I've had worse neighbors when renting from private landlords. Whereas my current experience with a management company has given me wonderful neighbors. (I didn't even know the upstairs neighbors had a 7 year old boy until I saw them leaving the apartment last month.)

All good suggestions. I'll have to start trying them one at a time. Although I think it's mainly stress. (sleep gets especially worse around back-to-school time.)

I've lived in both situations and have had good & bad experiences with each.

So you can ride it like a pony! (Seriously though, I like small to medium sized dogs.)

Not to disagree with you two, but at what point does a person stop being "Person A's friend" and start being "Person B's friend" too?

And with this I just realized I'm one of my friend's beards... only with less nice presents. lol

LOL. That reminds me of one of my friend's dogs. It's one of those "bear-size" dogs. He hates yelling, so when we were playing a board game that involved jumping around and yelling, he would jump up on us to get us to stop. LSS he knocked down our friend who's 5'1". We learned our lesson real quick after that.

Please tell me the married couple in question 2 don't have kids.

Thanks for the tips! I painted my apartment light shades of blue and purple and the landlord said I didn't need to get it back to white... unless the new tenant doesn't like the blue/purple. Which means I'll have to do a rush job if anything.

Now I really want the angry sorority girl to play Hillary in her biography.

So it's a matter of personal preference. Let's leave it at that. :)

That wasn't my assumption at all. In fact, it was quite the opposite. My assumption was that at some point in the day you will sit down at a computer. What's wrong with replying to non-urgent emails then?

I guess it depends on the content of the email. If it's something that only requires a sentence or two (or is urgent), I could see someone sending the email from their phone. But if it requires a detailed/well-informed answer I don't see why you cannot send it from a computer.

I like to think it's akin to the difference between calling someone and texting them. Which one do you think the person paid more attention to?
