Those issues you and the author bring up, as petty as some of them are, don't effect the gameplay as much as you claim it does. However, again I'll say that your commentary that they didn't listen to the player base is pure bullshit specifically because they made those changes to the game when people complained. If

People need to keep in mind that this will likely go live when the next expansion is live, or just before. Meaning that being level 9o will be pretty pointless once this is available, and you'll still have 10 more levels to go to reach level cap.

Keep in mind, this is likely at 90, and going to stay at 90, for the next expansion wherein being 90 is even more meaningless outside of saving time leveling to 90.

Except they did listen to the fan base, specifically hardcore fans. After releasing a gameplay video showing off the new features they purposely went in and added options to turn everything off, even the light crystal. So in fact they did the exact opposite of what you claim.

TB actually released a video later today after he released this one discussing exactly what you mention and pointing out that he never got into the original games but can understand why some people would be upset. It basically boils down to reboot games being very difficult to please hardcore fans because of their

From what I've played, if you like stealth games you'll at least enjoy it for that. It's definitely one of the most immersive games in recent memory for me.

Physical copies only seems like they lasts longer because we haven't had digital distribution long enough for it to outlive physical copies.

The concept is only fragile to people who assume that digital distribution will somehow limit your ability to play your game in the future due to the distribution being shut down. As far as I know, no game that has ever been only digitally released has ever been shut down to the point of people not being able to play

I'd argue that trial and error isn't the same in these two situations because in Dark Souls you have a chance at surviving if you're prepared - not if you're aware of what happens but prepared if something happens. Whereas in this version of DK it seems that trial and error is more learning the level layout than

Yea the driving aids make a considerable difference in most cars. Even in RWD vehicles without much power there's a huge difference in having the traction aid off compared to level 1. The other thing you mention though is really great, in how you have to manage how much pressure you use to brake and it's as important

I haven't had a chance to try it much, but friends I race with on GT6 tell me that Assetto Corsa is pretty impressive as well. Project CARS is pretty much what every PC racing gamer is waiting on atm though.

Yea, this is one of those games that probably doubles the enjoyment if you get a decent wheel unfortunately. I had the game about a week while waiting on my new wheel to come, and there's just no comparison to playing it on a controller to even a semi-decent GT Pro wheel.

They only last 3-5 seconds 'cause the car is going so fast. Take a real car through the Nurburgring that'll do 8+ minute laps and the camera won't cut so often.

The physics alone are worth the upgrade. They're vastly improved, and while there are a few bugs with tuning it's well worth it, especially if you use a race wheel. I can understand not wanting to though since they're still putting out seasonals for GT5 while they do them for GT6.

That's debatable. With a sim wheel anyone can actually improve their driving skills in GT or most of the other driver sims out there because it teaches you basic driving mechanics, unlike CoD not teaching you basic training. Just because GT may not be the most realistic racing sim out there doesn't mean it's not

That is likely related to a bug with the software of the game and not the system itself. Either way, it's still a stress test and getting this upset over it is pretty ridiculous when the stress test proved to be worth doing in pointing out an issue.

It's the first major test of the system and it's not even Azure/cloud server related but a bug with the software of the game. Also, it's a stress test. At least wait to see if the same happens at the official launch to start complaining.

The bandwidth isn't the issue, it's resolving millions of people accessing authentication servers at once. Unfortunately there's not much they can do to resolve that.

You act as though that should somehow prevent issues that arise. There's a reason that this happens every time a game launches when millions of people are trying to access authentication servers at once and there's not much at all they can do about it outside of adding a queue.

No, value is placed on what the consumer thinks it's worth and workers have to put themselves into the consumers shoes to determine the value of something when releasing it. Otherwise we'd have GTA5 being sold for $100 or more.
