What was the endgame for Lori Loughlin? I assume she figured she could just continue paying people off to complete her daughters’ work? Olivia Jade couldn’t finish a college application - how did her parents expect she would do when faced with actual course work? I get grade inflation and all that jazz, but I believe

But, unlike before, I have learned my lesson and I am choosing not to make our decision public.”

“like a nerd” = “by believing every conspiracy theory I stumbled across

Oh Linds, as a recovering alcoholic, nobody can keep somebody else sober for long.

I’d rather watch 20 seasons of original L&O than 1 season of SMILF.

Many years ago, I saw a play called Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune, which starred Kathy Bates as a frumpy middle aged waitress who finds love and optimism with the diner’s attractive short order cook played by F Murray Abraham. Much of the play deals with her insecurities about being loved or desired. When

I think that was the point of her accent, though.  It was part of the joke.

Please, you know his wrinkled old ass has a million-page will that is *very* finely-tuned.

She doesn’t need to fret over the pre-nup; she just has to wait it out. After all, she just married an 81 year old. Odds are he’ll be dead before the pre nup sunsets.

Context is important. One time I was dismissed from an important committee. Someone told me that, a couple years down the road, I would look better, *because* I was dismissed by them for standing up for my principles.

I bet her pre-nup is super sad.

It’s hard to imagine Julianne Moore ever being wrong for a part. It’s equally difficult to picture anyone playing Lee Israel better than Melissa McCarthy did. Talk about a tour-de-force.

I actually really love that she’s talking about this. I had a shitty review at work this week, and feel like a total failure at life. To think that someone as respected and established as Juianne Moore could be fired kinda makes me think “you know what, no one is immune from this shit.” I know the shame she’s probably

I’m equally offended by the description of their wedding plans: they’re asking their guests to attend a ceremony in Williamsburg, a dinner in Soho, and then a post-dinner reception at 78th & Park. THIS IS TOO MUCH MOVING AROUND.

One of the most insidious things about sexual abuse is that the trauma inflicted on the victim causes behavior that people use to discredit them. For instance, the victim vehemently defending the abuser is actually one of the potential symptoms of abuse. It’s a result of the grooming and of the desperate need for the

Adding this hour was brilliant. Oprah really managed to connect the harrowing story, carefully told in the documentary, to the experience of other victims; to the millions of child sexual abuse survivors whose abuser wasn’t famous, by showing how the pattern of grooming is essentially the same (ie the story told by

God he was so hard to watch.  Wade Robson seemed like he was in a much better place about things (though he might just have had a better game face), but James looked so anguished and uncomfortable the entire time.

I find it noteworthy that both of these men are angrier with their mothers than they are with Jackson.

I didn’t know how profoundly After Neverland was going to impact me. Really wish I hadn’t watched it. There was childhood sexual abuse in my family that I thought had been neatly tucked away but this film ripped that fucking wound right open. I doubt I’ll get a good night sleep for a long while.

Oprah asked tough questions, and they gave satisfactory answers. I thought the documentary laid out the timeline very well and showed where the boys/men were at in their lives during the two trials and why they made the decisions they made.
