ETA: sorry, didn’t read all the way to the end! Eeeep.

oh, you mean “Ayesha’s public persona—which is not always met with positivity”? All that link does is take you to her twitter, without any explanation. I’d expect more from Jezebel, given the “modesty” bullshit feeds from/back into rape culture.

Yes.

So we’re just forgetting that Ayesha Curry went on twitter to decry women wearing revealing outfits, and noting she “keeps it under wraps” for “the one who matters”...?

This is such a great article; it really encapsulates my feelings on TAL.

Yeah, for all its talk, that really made me think that Kink doesn't really walk the walk.

According to (commenter in this thread) TanyaFace, it can be found by googling. I won’t do it for you, as I’m still at work. But I recall watching it about 2 years ago (I think...).

Yeah, watching an outtake of him being so drunk/high he threw up on another performer in a scene was enough for me- it was incredibly disrespectful (the crew weren’t much better; they basically did nothing until the performer screamed for a towel, and Deen wandered off). I can’t remember where I would have seen that

I’ll miss you here, EGR — but I’ll also follow you elsewhere. Looking forward to reading more of your stuff.

I’d pay good money for that on a t-shirt.

Ah, the size I'm used to is an espresso cup

They're charging for them?! The places I used to go in Australia would offer it for free with Mum’s or Dad’s cappuccino. How rude! :)

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised but come on Jezebel... This may not be a thing in the US but it’s fucking EVERYWHERE in Europe and Australia/NZ. Perhaps if one consumed some culture that isn’t exclusively made in the US, you may start to get the references in European reality shows...

I had the same hotness discovery... especially when Captain von Trapp calls (?) a nazi (a facist?), which goes down well, and he responds with “Oh how clumsy of me. I meant to accuse you.”

Clare Bowen—a.k.a Scarlett from Nashville—cut off her very long hair to show her support for a little girl with cancer.”

I don’t know, in this context I’m more likely to forgive it. Super formal emails from a pre-school would be a red flag for me. It’s also pretty pervasive Australian slang, along with “kiddos” (no issue with that...?)

Look, I know everyone on the Jezebel staff these days is like 22 years old so forty appears ancient but “It’s rare for women in their forties to conceive” —- really? Really? It’s “rare”? -__-

As I noted above, it’s not that it’s against any law; it is simply a policy I have seen enforced before on Facebook and it does not surprise me that the same would be enforced by Twitter.

Well, in all of the versions of the photos I’ve seen the email addresses are redacted. And I have no problem with the content of the email being shared like that. Not to mention - as others have - that her work email address can easily be filtered or changed. No-one doxxed her personal data; her phone number does not

Sure- I just meant in terms of whatever policy Facebook/ Twitter were applying, not what one might be able to legally disclose.
