Yeah, those issues aren’t “female issues” they’re just fucking issues.

And how awful if she did make the choice solely on that basis.

Far out, all of these hollywood dads (with famous wives...) who f**k the nanny just make me really sad about the prospects of marriage in general. I mean, if you have money and insane good looks and enough power to structure your career around your private pursuits like family... All I can think is... REALLY Gavin

That may be the only time I could think it was acceptable: where you literally can’t wake them and you’ve made a number of polite attempts (I know how some people like to take sleeping pills).

That’s awesome. I may need to use that line next time...

Yeah, but at the theatre - and certainly, in some airline seats - there is a sufficient gap that you can squeeze past the person’s legs on the far side. When you get to climbing over someone, which usually entails one leg at a time over them, I think it’s a different beast.

Yup. It’s that weird entitlement I object to, like why wouldn’t you want to see his crotch up in your face and his knee in your belly?

Ok, so you are a person I have not yet encountered. Still pretty awkward, and I would say pretty rude. Also, what if you fell on them? Or placed a foot awkwardly? I’m pretty sure they don’t want your butt anywhere near their face, even while they’re sleeping.

Yeah, the spreading thing is related to this, I think. Something about certain men thinking themselves entitled to as much space as they want.

Urgh, that sucks.

Huh? We’re here talking about sexual harassment on planes, one of the roots of which is that a fair number of men think they can walk all over (sometimes literally) the personal space of other people (usually women). See also “spreading” on the subway.

Uh, methinks it’s only men who think it’s ok to invade your personal space because they want to stretch their legs.

I would have thought the same thing about myself, but I do think there’s an atmosphere on a plane - as the author observes - where as there is no “escape,” your own focus becomes on diffusing, or something. That happened to me on a very long haul flight; I think the length of the flight has an impact on it, too.

Oh man, this is so true. I don’t speak to men of a certain age anymore. I’ve also done the same thing with telling the hotel I’m not expecting anyone and under no circumstances to release my room number or make up a second key. My experiences thankfully haven’t been so... physical, but I have had the experience of my

Well, at least I’ve gone from “terrible” to simply “bad”. Who knows, by dinnertime I might be “middling.”

The headline change has made it clear that it’s a settlement - but the article as first written really did make it seem like the only thing on foot was an appeal by Autozone which had been dropped. Now with a new headline, “challenge to the verdict” makes more sense as a post-trial motion that has been dropped,

Which billing code is online shopping for Puma shoes under..?

So they’re BOTH terrible people?

Ah, ok. That makes sense re: a settlement.

You mean after she had his visa revoked when they had joint custody, thinking it would mean she would get sole custody?
