I our heart of hearts, we know she still does drop the occasional f-bomb. She'll only do it when it is absolutely necessary, and it will sound all the more ominous for it. Like, shit will go down unless you listen to her.

This probably doesn't apply to VS, since their apparel is mostly worn under clothes, but I think clothing brands destroy rather than donate because of brand image issues. Homeless people are not the best testimonials. People, as a general rule, want to look cooler than the bum on the street.

Gone Girl.

No, this is the end. You can't go any higher than Cassazione and nobody is willing to prosecute this any further, particularly in the absence of any new evidence. The case was bungled and this is the only possible outcome at this point, I think. She's in the clear.

Yeah, we're all a bit like that these days.

I've been thinking about you a lot, these days. Have a hug.

I love you Sephora ladies so much. You have a better hang on my skin woes than I do.

I only clicked on this to check on Adultosaur, to be honest. Darling, say you're ok.

Can somebody with some expertise in child psychology tell me if this "reactive attachment disorder" is an actual disorder or (as I suspect) another bullshit diagnosis made up in order to pathologize normal human suffering? Abandoned, abused girls are very likely to have issues: does that make them "disordered"?

Oh God thank you. I that it was just me. I mean crying. God. The tears.

I love how Elena Kagan is still the smiliest of the bunch.

She was amazing in Big Love. My favourite character by far.

Yes, it is. But men have had to deal with it for centuries, how's that fair? It's not fair. As a woman, I've had to deal with rejection a lot, but I learned to deal with it.

Ringwald also took a photo with Carly Rae Jepsen, whom she referred to as "a younger version of me." An informal poll of the Jezebel writers concluded that we "did not see it."

That's an important point you're making, here. I'm sick of hearing adult women complain that men don't try hard enough, as though they were always expected to do all the heavy lifting when it comes to courtship. I dislike that, it sends the wrong message to men and women alike and encourages women to be passive rather

I read Italian correctly (duh), I have a degree in Translation and I can attest that Domenico Dolce did call children "synthetic", and went on to specify that they were "children of chemistry". There is nothing here that was lost in translation at all and nobody "hugged" anything out (Stefano Gabbana called Elton John

Now playing

"I wish I'd let them know that I was here/a drop of arsenic in their wine/sulphuric acid in their beer"
I knew The Housemartins were onto something.

There's something about Hailee Steinfeld that suggests softness and good cheer (yes, I did see True Grit and loved it, but it was a well-written role: Beth doesn't have that kind of breathing space in the story at all), not at all the kind of sassy spirit I associate with Jo. Maybe this role calls for a newcomer?

Also: Elle Fanning as Amy, Miles Teller as Laurie, Hailee Steinfeld as Beth (she's played tough elsewhere, she could bring a little depth to the character), Emma Watson as Meg and Shailene Woodley as Jo (although it looks like she wants to move away from playing a teenager, so that may not fly). I'd also love to see

Britton sounds like an excellent choice. Moore is perhaps too commanding and so is Blanchett, while Marmee is a softer kind of boss.
