I think the struggle here is the gap between what is perceived as appropriate. I tend to agree though. I don’t feel as though I drive recklessly/ unsafe, and feel many would fail at arguing that I do, but I do frequently break the speed limit.

Would excessive speeding like this be reduced if all speed limits were based on some sort of scientifically-based actual safe traveling speed, rather than having areas of arbitrary reduced limits, seemingly for no reason other than revenue generation?

While I agree that I'd rather be at home, you can turn off your lights and adjust the dimmer for your interior lights which should include your center display.  Something I often do when driving through the sticks.

What Larson has done behind the scenes is much further than he was required by NASCAR to go. Test drove the Golf, Mazda3 hatch and the Civic hatch back to back to back 2 years ago when I was car shopping, IMO the Golf was the worst of them.

When this model of Civic came out I absolutely hated it, now I own a 2018. It grew on me, rapidly, every time I drove it. Factor in my son calling it the Batmobile, I really can’t complain.  Type-R is over the top to me but who knows I may just pull that trigger next.
