Yes, very few will get up at 8AM on a Sunday morning to watch an F1 race.

The big shock to me was when I was driving my Hyundai Elantra rental car in LA after having driven my ‘18 Honda Civic with backup camera & passenger side mirror blind spot camera for 8 months. I was so used to never turning my head to check my passenger side blind spot thanks to the camera (I prefer the camera over a…
“We need more money for the roads/transit” -> Increase taxes or bridge tolls
Agreed 100%
Still technically international since they go out of the country and have Customs. They also have many, many international FedEx flights during the night.
They do quite a bit of international flights now (both passenger and freight)
There are much much more G Forces for sustained periods than NASCAR. NASCAR’s biggest physical thing is the heat (140 degrees in the cockpit). F1 on the other hand has higher sustained heart rate and G forces which cause physical exhaustion. A doctor a few years ago said the average person could drive an F1 car for 2…
Depends on the series. F1 is the most physically demanding, which is why we don’t see any women in it imho. Women are successful in NHRA drag racing and other forms of motorsport.
No other sport pits every competitor again each other, so of course a team has to win game to win the championship. Motorsport is about consistency. One can theoretically win the F1, Indycar, IMSA or MotoGP championship without winning a race.
FOX stopped airing practice on Friday’s before 3 PM.
FOX & NBC wanted qualifying to fit into a one hour broadcast window.
I like screens, but I don’t like the new fad of having the screens stick out like a sore thumb and look like a giant iPad sticking out of the dash
And dust
I’m pro touchscreen, but it has to be done well. A lot of touchscreens could use some human factors testing. I love the touchscreen in my 2018 Civic hatchback. It’s intuitive and I can still do most of what I need to do with buttons on my steering wheel. With voice commands in Android Auto, I don’t have to type…
Hope they find who did it and ban them for life. Same thing happened at Talladega when Vickers wrecked precious Junebug for the win.
I’m talking this. Not them running on racetracks on asphalt surfaces with a random jump here or there.
Will Power led 46 laps before that. It was rather boring up front for the lead until the end. At about lap 20 I switched to NASCAR then back to Indycar for the last 14 laps.
I miss them actually being in stadiums and running on dirt
Depends on the trim level of the Golf. I’m not talking GTI or Type R.
Meh, I prefer the new Honda hatchback over the Golf. 30 hp more and this interior of the Civic is nicer imho.
