I really don’t get it with complaints about race. Good luck finding Germans that speak fluent Japanese. Why does everything have to follow along perfectly with the original settings? Should Japanese people only make movies set in Japan?

Uh, but it did get popular because of SNES. The console took off like no other and the initial leading title was SFII. Ofcourse the arcade is the kickstarter but SNES was no joke. As an icon it’s just there for collectors so there’s really nothing to b*tch about tbh.

I think most will agree it is due to nostalgia? I personally like the Japanese version because I grew up there but the US version has its own taste. It’s almost like how US and Japan build their robots differently.

Sorry that is some awful art direction and just looks like they’re trying to ride the “Your Name bandwagon”.

May be slightly off-topic: I like myself some concept art and the ones shown here are mind blowing but the kanji (chinese characters) need to be taken more seriously. No matter how cool your ship is, would it look good with the word “BOAT” plastered on it?
