That's simply a right click on the bottom left corner though. Faster for me IMO but maybe faster when you get things done on the keyboard more. The shortcut should be mentioned more often though!

Laptop + mouse here and works like a charm. MS knows a big portion of the population probably won't migrate to touch just yet. They designed it so using a mouse works perfectly too.

That isn't a long list at all and can be learned by just playing with the UI a bit. Won't even take 2 hours for tech savvy people, and probably not even a day for people that aren't familiar.

People are afraid of change. And mostly whining about a Start button. One friggin button. You get to keep the Win7 setup + a Win 8 metro UI. Right click the bottom left corner to pop up a menu that well resembles a start button.

Right click the bottom left corner. BAM. A improved start menu. Case closed.

Dis Apple all you want but all the Android devices look the same. The best part is different brands with "differently designed" phones still all manage to look the same. Bravo. This Nexus 10 if true is one hideous looking tablet. How do you make a tablet look so fat and ugly.

I knew these were around but was never tempted to get one because I didn't see the point. Until there was this character series I really liked so I decided to buy one and plug it on my phone. Then someone called and I picked up and noticed there was no sound, at all. I thought my phone broke suddenly and kept calling…

So they are still miles away for doing really power consuming work, like Adobe + 3D + renderings. I mean even with the Surface Pro. It's a blessing to be able work in this field but the limitation to a powerhouse laptop (or PC...) and ugly mouse is such a shame with all these new stuff coming out!
