I’ve seen both and I completely agree. Persona 5 Golden was very off paced and average. It felt very clunky. Making a new series for the sake of Marie was very wasteful.

I wouldn’t say their quality is mediocre. They have worked on the Persona movies and Persona 5 OVA. I actually own the Persona 5 OVA blu-ray and it looks great. In fact, I bought it after seeing a review from this site. I will say that the teaser trailer was odd looking so I can see your point too. We’ll find out next…
