If the Wii 2 can still play my GameCube games or at least have the option for GameCube controllers (since some Wii games used it still), all the better.
It's looking great. But I like some of the darker colors in the original game. It added atmosphere. Maybe it's because they're still in development for it, but I hope that the lightning is changed in dark places for the remake. Playing the Shadow Temple in bright colors may not be as chilling.

Personally, I'd rather be told a story then try to make one for myself as is most cases the Western way. Gameplay or other elements may excel, but the story feels cheapened to me because my impact may not be as great. Three words for all the haters. Final Fantasy X. That game was met with widespread praise from most of the loyal community. And you know what? That game was very linear too. Straightforward story that had you constantly moving forward.
