I purchased a focus st for the exact same reason. I used to own a c5 z06 corvette. Sold it to get the ST.... I absolutely love it. The only downside I really say is the noise, not quite loud enough, but sadly... that’s what my wife likes vs my old z06.

Already own an ST, so this would be perfect for my wife! :)

when I was a kid, our van had bar stools as seats, and no seat belts. Now THAT was a RIDE! keep in mind, our family had 4 kids in that van at 1 time

I have the exact same issue, I’m glad we didn’t get anything smaller like a mazda 3 or speed3(our other choice, looks nice, but feels much smaller.). Also, I think it’s the law to have a rear facing seat until they’re 20lb’s which for my little girl just happened (1yr 4mo)...

After trading in my vette for a focus, I have to say. We take 1 car wherever we go. So, technically since my wife’s car can hold the car seat, we could have kept the vette afterall. However, I got the Focus ST, so i’m not too upset...As long as you have 1 car that can fit a car seat easily, it’s no big deal, that will

I ended up getting rid of my c5 z06 for a Focus St.... started out as a regular Focus SE, but a half year after owning, convinced the wife to trade up for an ST. Not the smartest choice financially (trading in so soon for another new car), but I ended up getting the better looking 2015 :)

I’m sure it looks better in person. Saw an 2016 SS yesterday... that looked AMAZING in person.

I absolutely love this. In a world FULL of people who are so “hurt” over the slightest comment, having an owner just say “f**k this guy” and rip up his order is quite refreshing. IMO, you shouldn’t bash a car or it’s company and then say.... “but I can’t wait to own it”. That’s like biting the hand that feeds you.

If it was the 6.4L, they’re surprisingly louder than the RT’s 6.2 on startup. There’s no way you could mistake that sound for the v6.

Also, the scat pack runs the 6.4L engine, which has the superbee logo. So there are technically 2 different packages with the same 6.4L engine.

This is tough, because everyone has their own set of ethics & beliefs when it comes to designing and their job. I’m a designer as well and I disagree with you. I feel that if fisker wants to produce his own cars, he needs to make sure it’s completely unique. As a businessman & a designer. Look at pagani. He worked for

I’d actually be more upset w/ the extra .6 seconds from 0-60. 4-5mpg when you’re up to 50mpg, that’s the difference between two different drivers.

Then the question is... would you really want to buy a $200 used supercharger??? There are reasons why things are cheap. Sometimes for your own good, you shouldn’t buy it...

The c6’s are even scarier... They don’t have pull handles. They just have a button that pops the door. The mechanical release is just a metal chord under the carpet, there’s one for every door / hatch.

The good thing about it having a plastic interior is that there are companies out there that specialize in leather wrapping the entire corvette interior to your specifications. Some of which look VERY nice. If you have an extra 3-5k, you can sit in a car that feels completely different with fancy seats, new steering

Agreed. I seriously think this checks all of the right boxes for a reunion. Great in all the RIGHT ways and not too overstated. The only thing better would be the convertible...

The “grown up” part is what escapes me when seeing these. IMO it screams... I’m trying to hold onto my childhood and act “cool”. In no way does it say successful or “nice”. Yes, people like them, but in a different way than really LIKING them. It’s one of those things where it’s cool, but you’d never be caught dead

It’s been proven that the wind speed actually increases under a bridge. you would be better off just lying on the ground. Best place would be a ditch.

Duh! the Atom would be an awesome airplane too!
