Exactly, there are too many aspects of this not dealt with in the article. Furniture, licensing, supplies, insurance. That’s just a few items that might add up to $70 a night. And with the last article saying that the hospital in CA has fewer beds and costs 150% more, this looks more like a shit on the landlord…
As much as the world, and the US in particular, is in the grips of extreme capitalism and gets more examples like this... I wonder who would be on the hook for the costs of new furniture, equipment, new operating license, all the different utility costs and everything else that comes with such an undertaking.
Maybe unpopular opinion, but I like the original one more. Its busy yes, but its unique at least. I’d get rid of those fake vents and dull down the edginess of the bottom edges, but overall the design looks cool.
