I think he's pretty good. Not as good as Steve Jobs - and of course, we've yet to see Tim in action as CEO - but still good. But I do feel sorry for him. Where was the clapping? The laughter? The cheering? The spirit of Apple keynotes? Not his fault, of course.

Sounds lovely. :P Bearing in mind however, that the only tea I have had is a bit of the tea my mum has (I'm only fourteen), so it's likely to not be the best in the world.

Then again, it could be because I live in the North. That's probably it.

Err... Matt... I haven't heard anyone say 'Bobbies' for a long time now. Just saying. ;)

Mmm... crumpets. Surprisingly, I don't like tea! One of the few British people who don't. I think it's just smelly hot water. Now that'll put you off your tea.

I probably came up with the name Google before they did. I was 1, that was all I could say.

Well, of course, but it would be nice to see my news feed free of all those groups. One can wish, after all.

I am also a big fan of timeline. I'm a fan of the messy look of Timeline - like you say, "So's life." But, as a teenage member of Facebook, my Timeline is unfortunately filled with horrible 'tag me' photos and shoddily photographed JPEGs of worthless little pieces of... poo. I imagine my brother's timeline will look

Microsoft has been great stuff recently. First Metro UI, then Windows Phone 7, Windows 8 (primarily for how fast it is, as Metro UI doesn't work brilliantly on non-tablet PCs) and now this. Keep up the good work!

Windows 8 is brilliant, it's really fast on my usually slow computer. However, I have to say I use the Desktop UI more than Metro, simply because Metro isn't really designed for laptops/desktops.

I personally agree. I have given my earbuds to my friends in the past, usually on the bus when we're all anti-social and listen to music. And it's horrible. I say "I've got to get off the bus now, can I have my earbuds back?" They say, "Sure... Oh, sorry," wiping the earwax off my earbuds on the bus seat.

Agreed. It is certainly aimed more at tablets. I still like it, but it could be improved for the desktop. I don't like the swiping from the left to go to the previous screen, I've activated that by mistake quite a bit. But I do still like it in general.

There are some thinks I'd change about it, but otherwise, I love Windows 8. If it wasn't for iTunes, I wouldn't even consider downgrading before March next year (when it expires). I do hope Apple, whom I almost adore, can learn a bit from 8 like you said, and vice versa. With vice versa I mean...

I'm absolutely downloading that image as my wallpaper. Love at first sight does exist, but only with pictures of eggs. In blue pans.

Steve: I wear a bow tie now. Bow ties are cool.

Although it's rarely used, I think 4D is the worst. I saw a trailer for a film advertising itself as 4D, and they claimed the fourth dimension was in the form of scratch-and-sniff cards? Honestly... It's all utter nonsense.

What about hail? Gary didn't think about that one.

I don't understand. All of Android is weird, isn't it?

Well... I'm not overly impressed. Sure, $250 is a nice price, but it is lacking in features. I know this is just a mockup from TechCrunch have said (which I read), but I'm not sure it'll catch on.

No, but the ratio of good:bad is probably better with WP7, as it is with iOS. With Android, I've seen some horrendous apps, such as the numerous fart apps which used to be on iOS (thankfully there aren't too many now), and an app called 'Dildroid', which basically was an Android you could adjust the height of to
