Well I'd say based on how much they've scrambled to secure 3rd party exclusives for launch to bulk up their poor 1st party internal development, that's definitely not true.
Locked now, but here you go.
Yeah, you're right, too late to change it, ah well.
PS4 has more Netflix users than any other platform at this point. A lot of people who don't play online MP on a console (myself included 90% of the time) still use things like Netflix, Amazon Prime Streaming, Twitter, Facebook, etc. If those things are behind a pay wall on one system and not the other, it's pretty…
Except it's not, because you can unplug it and still use the XB1. MS Insider on Gaf has said depending on launch sales, MS is kicking around the idea of a cheaper version without the Kinect next year, so I guess we'll see how that plays out.
Someone posted this on Gaf, and I think it's incredible, especially stuff like Pizza Hut and Internet Explorer. 81 XBox One features locked behind their Gold paywall:
Got my PS4 pre-ordered, so I'm good, thanks. The same operators will be standing by when MS releases a Kinect-less $350 version late next year.
A lot of this stuff we already knew about, but it all sounds pretty great regardless. Love the idea of spectating people playing games on my friend list, too. No more PM'ing people on PSN asking if something they're playing is good, just watch them play and decide for yourself.
No, I was able to look at this picture on my Vita, too.
.
New PS4 sku comes in stock on Amazon, immediately shoots to the #1 sales position.
Excuse me, I need to go check to see which day of the week it is in relation to which XBL feature will be available to me if I don't pay for Gold.
Dat Alias gif.
Needed more Timothy Dalton, but it was still pretty great.
PS4 is not backwards compatible with retail or PSN games, so those games will not be on the PS4 store unless they go back and re-develop those games for next gen. More likely they will show up on Gaikai, yes, but that will be a separate service from the PSN store.
So we should pat Microsoft on the head and say "good boy" for backpedaling on anti-consumer policies they tried to implement until pre-order numbers couldn't sustain their "vision".
