Not really how it works, this is comparing the same game, not for instance Forza 5, that has baked in lighting and effects, to DriveClub, which is running a ton of dynamic settings in the background, increase air pressure depending on location, day/night cycle, etc.

Are they going to allow keyboard and mouse support on the XBO for browsing the web? Seems like something that would be pretty essential if you're hyping up this kind of stuf.

I agree, come back Phil Fish.

Do you know anything about this, or do you just open your mouth and hope for the best? Sony and Nintendo have had self-publishing options for well over a year.

I see 2 possibilities here:

Not games since the PS4 is not backwards compatible, just like the XBO isn't. But yeah, everything else.

They announced a new Ratchet Clank, showed off a bunch of playable stuff at SDCC, and you can barely open a web site these days without a new Mark Cerny interview. I think they've been a lot more talkative than other certain console makers.

Heavily rumored they will announce a launch date at Gamecom at the end of August. I would expect if one of the Big Two makers announce a date, the other will as well.

Your friend's list, trophies, movies, music, etc will. Games will not.

"No word yet how much we'll have to pay to play PS4 games online"

So Cole DLC confirmed.

Like Activision would pay for servers. Call of Duty is all about the Peer2Peer.

Like BLOPS2 on the Wii U, Activision expects to sell thousands of copies.

Oh nm, I should probably have read more of it.

Master Cube?

Ken Silverman made Cube World? Holy hell, had no idea, haven't heard anything about him since Duke Nukem 3D.

Feel like there's still not enough here to gauge how important this is or how it brings down walls for indie devs. Hopefully more of that is made clear at Gamescom, but it seems like it could be cool for smaller devs if MS doesn't use it as a gateway to nickle and dime them into being platform exclusive.

After having bought the Season Pass for Saints Row the Third.

Marc Whitten says: ""It's how we architectured the [Xbox One], but it won't all be there at launch.""
