It’s the notion of the perfect victim. They see themselves as perfect victims, so anyone who acts differently can’t be a real victim of abuse. Women are expected to act a certain way, not fight back, cry a certain way, be contrite and essentially cower before their abuser to classify as a victim or to be believed.

Why are you surprised? Do you know how many women have been nursed and weaned on misogynistic teachings? Do you know how many women have had a male god, one who only loves some women, nailed into their minds before they developed the capacity to speak?

Ah yes, I can understand why you’d confuse standing up to the literal law enforcement body of a nation state who have the legal ability to arrest you, ruin you, beat you, or if they feel like it kill you as being equivalent to receiving a mocking tweet from... @Twisty_Tie1.

for the hundredth time...what is it about Johnny Depp that incites this kind of absolutely feral psychotic response? I have had so many encounters with these whackos for merely stating that maybe he’s guilty because a UK court found it “substantially likely” he beat her, and HOLY SHIT you’d think I called him a

Hit and run troll job by a greyed account.

I thought it was fitting. Basically everyone in the BB/BCS universe either died or is on the lam. Someone actually had to wind up in prison at some point.

Can’t tell if this is an actual opinion or a troll job.

I don't blame this person for vanishing after posting this dopey comment.

It was beautiful how even when Walter got past the "time travel isn't scientific" rant, his one thing he wishes he could change was grey matter. That's just who Walter was in the end. A man hung up on one bad business decision decades ago.

You’re entitled to your opinion (terrible though it may be), but not your own facts.  Kim clearly didn’t think it “was stupid.”

Your username is serendipitous given the wrongheadedness of that comment!

Sepinwall made what I thought was a very interesting point: "Sometimes, when spinoffs bring back characters from the parent series, it’s to remind you of why you liked them in the first place. Both of Walt’s appearances here have instead played up his most insufferable qualities, giving you the worst version of Walter

Oof

That’s funny, but the post is not unhinged enough, not angry enough, and is too grammatically correct

Turns out, the secret of being the best in a JJ Abrams trilogy is to be the one not made by JJ Abrams.

I like how “woke culture” has now devolved into a pointless buzzword meaning “anything I personally don’t like.”

Right? And his post was pretty much generic “I didn’t like it”, and didn’t even approach the toxic (racist, sexist) vitriol the movie actually gets.

That’s perfectly reasonable, no need to be defensive about it.

Johnny Depp looks like if you took sexy 90s Depp and covered him in porridge. Stop mumbling motherfucker, we can’t understand a word you’re saying.

nah you’re lying misogynist nazi hotep.
