Wait, what in the world is Bulgaralpine? Alpines made in Bulgaria?

I’ve heard of Dinalpin before, but not Bulgaralpines.

You can’t really refer to the USA as “ol’” when the comparison is most countries in Europe. maybe “good, slightly used USA.”

“You cheapskates don’t buy new cars, or haggle/lease/finance too damn much.”

I am just glad a car like this still exist today. Like many, I am too a sucker for horsepower, lap times and 0-60s. But I too love cars that are more about the numbers and this is definitely one of them. The car just looks elegant, sporty and

It’s difficult enough to get manufacturers to make any kind of affordable coupe, let alone anything mid-engined. It would be an extremely niche product at best, and the amount of sales you’d need to meet that price point means its hardly likely any car company would be willing to try.

I have no idea where you got your figures but they’re not the ones that Porsche gives.

I think Raph was speaking specifically to the thousand-kilo segment.

It’s so blue, its so pretty.

“For a few years now, the thousand-kilo Alfa Romeo 4C has been alone as the only sports car worth giving a shit about”

I’m even skeptical about how sick Opel is said to be. I’m expecting some creative accounting and some people who want to make a quick buck. If (when) fuel prices go up significantly when most cars aren’t yet electrical I fear selling Opel might be the major nail in the coffin of GM as Opel has been the driving force

I must say I would have expected a better analysis of the situation from you guys. Opel/Vauxhalls may not be the most exciting of cars but they still have significant market share in Europe, which surely attests to the quality of their products, not to mention that the only Buicks you could call decent are Opels. And

PSA tended to match Opel reliability or surpass it. Opel traditionally never offered anything but average cars with average designs and average reliability for average prices for average people. Typical GM. Superfluous.

“Why would someone get this over a Sport or Evoque?”

The only reason people think everything looks like an Audi, is because Audi has no style. They’re boring emotionless designs. They couldnt look any more neutral if they tried. It’s as if a Swiss company runs their design team.

Yeah, that’s a no to a Nissan badge on this thing. I wish it didn’t matter, but that would make a big difference to me. This is an Alpine.

Plot twist for the American market: will be sold as a FWD-based crossover called the AX-110.

Renault-Nissan should work together and make another Z inspired by that Alpine that is more like the classic Z series

So many performance cars these days are crazy aggressive looking (I’m looking at you Aventador SV), I really appreciate the softer curves on this one.

But blue.
